Want to go on a night out with friends but stay completely in budget? Take advantage of the discounted tickets that are available all across London! From watching a Royal Shakespeare Company play for just £10, to seeing one of the world’s most prestigious Ballet companies perform at just £30, we’ve scouted all the deals available and rounded up the best under 25 ticket schemes in London so you don’t have to.

1. Dance and Opera

Calling all dance lovers! The Barclays Dance Pass for 16-30 year olds unlocks £10 tickets for you and a plus-one at Sadler’s Wells and the Peacock Theatre. From ballet, flamenco, hip hop and more, they actively host works from famous national dance companies like the English National Ballet, and international dance companies like Nederlands Dans Theatre and House of Flamenka.

For our graceful ballerinas, the Young Royal Opera House (ROH) account for 16-25 year olds grants you access to £30 tickets to watch the world-reknowned Royal Ballet, as well as The Royal Opera.

The other principal opera company in London, the English National Opera (ENO), have two amazing deals for you to get discounted opera tickets! The Under 21s membership scheme allows 16-20 year olds to get a free opera ticket per production for all ENO shows, while the Under 35s membership enables you and a plus-one to save up to 75% on tickets.


2. Theatre

Since London is widely regarded as the theatre capital of the world, we have to include discounts for theatre productions! The National Theatre has 16-25s tickets that allow UK residents to book tickets priced at £10 and under for any of their shows at the South Bank. Currently discounted shows include The Father and the Assassin, which features Olivier Award-winner Hirad Abeysekera, and Roald Dahl’s The Witches.

A fan of William Shakespeare? The Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) offers £10 tickets in partnership with TikTok for young people aged 14-25 and full-time students. Upcoming works include A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Romeo & Juliet. If the Bard isn't your thing, RSC also hosts other works like My Neighbour Totoro and Matilda the Musical.


Another of the UK’s leading  theatres, Donmar Warehouse, offers YOUNG+FREE tickets for 16-25 year olds. These free tickets are offered by ballot to young people who have signed up to their YOUNG+FREE list, where you can get up to two tickets per production if you are selected. 

We can’t forget about Young Vic, who offer concession tickets for full-time students and people aged 25 and under. Known for nurturing young and emerging theatre talent, Young Vic pushes the boundaries of how stories are told.

The Almedia Theatre also offers 25 & under tickets, where you can get £5 tickets by using the promo code "25UNDER" when booking online, or by calling their Box Office and quoting “25 and Under”. 

3. Film and the Barbican

For film lovers, the British Film Institute (BFI) offers 25 & Under tickets, where BFI Southbank cinema tickets go for just £3. The BFI  famously hosts the London Film Festival, which took place earlier this month.

Finishing up our list is Young Barbican! From classical and contemporary music, to theatre, art exhibitions and more, the Barbican is a well-known arts centre that hosts a wide variety of performances. Offering £5, £10 or £15 across art, film, music, theatre and dance, the Young Barbican scheme allows 14-25 year olds discounted access to countless events throughout the year!
