St Pancras International is hosting its annual Beer Festival this October from the 14th to the 20th, and with many free drinks, prizes and discounts being given away each day it's the perfect place for a student day out on a budget.

The station has been famously associated with the beer industry in the 154 years that it has been open, and is celebrating its heritage by hosting the Beer Festival.

St Pancras will have its own carriage bar ‘hop on and hop off’ pop up where visitors can learn about the history of the festival and the beer industry whilst also experiencing what the stations breweries have to offer.

More excitingly, visitors will have the chance to win prizes, and the festival is offering 100 prizes a day so plenty of opportunity for you and your friends to all win. There will also be exclusive tastings of beer at the carriage pop up. So if you're in the mood for a free drink then head down to St Pancras.

The festival is also offering discounts in partnership with the station's retailers. And what student doesn't love a good discount? Some of these discount include:

20% off all Two Tribes canned beer from Source Market, who will also be hosting tasting sessions every Thursday this October.

Carluccios, a beautiful Italian restaurant, is offering 20% off meals during the Festival. A great discount on great food! Gift vouchers and free Peroni are also prizes that are available to win.

Cafe Le Pain Quotidien is also offering 10% off beer when you dine in, and The Betjeman Arms is offering free pints of Youngs beer to those who visit the pop up and enter the prize draw, where other prizes such as a discount on beer can also be won.
